THE OWA OF IGBAJO OBA ADENIYI FASADE CELEBRATES 25YRS OF HIS REIGN

Igbajo sons and daughters from home and abroad converged in Igbajo on 8th of August 2015 to join in the celebration of silver jubilee of the coronation of Oba Adeniyi Olufemi Olalekan Fashade as Owa of Igbajo Land. The Traditional Institutions, especially from the south west of Nigeria, registered their huge presence to show their solidarity with one of their own.

The event properly began with special thanksgiving church service at First Baptist Church Igbajo, The Sanctuary of Peace. The high point of the church service was the rendition of songs by the choir and congregation to felicitate with the celebrant.

One of the success stories of the reign of Oba Adeniyi Olufemi Fashade, the Owa Of Igbajo Land, is the emergence of Igbajo Polytechnic which has begun to take proper shape, Oba Olufemi Fashade and other prominent sons and daughters or Igbajo Land Like Chief Oyewole, Former Chairman of DHL, Chief Inuolaji Aboaba the first Secretary of Osun State Government among others have been working to see that Igbajo Polytechnic becomes one of the best Polytechnic in Nigeria.
